Some cancer care can be particularly complex requiring management in NHS facilities, in the current climate possibly requiring transfer to NHS care.

The availability of dental chairs is of particular importance in facilitating a comprehensive examination of oral mucosal lesions and is necessary to provide appropriate dentoalveolar surgery under local anaesthesia ( and sedation if required ) in an outpatient setting.
